Can I join?

Yes - there is no longer a requirement  to have served in the Army, Navy or Airforce, but you must be prepared to observe the Clubs rules and protocols.

What are the protocols that you mention?

These are things like not wearing hats inside. This is done as a sign of rememberance and respect for those who have given their lives in the defence of New Zealand. This is a common theme throughout all RSA's.

Another protocol is the reading of "Lines" at 6pm on Friday. All members and guests are requested to stand and face the cross for this short ceremony.

There are other things that happen from time to time, but the above are those that you need to be aware of as a member or a guest.

How much will it cost?

If you are aged 60 years or over, the annual subscription is $30 per year. If you are aged under 60 years, the annual subscription is $55 per year. There is no joining fee.

You can print this one off by clicking here Application form  or pick one up from the foyer of the club. Please note that the fees stated on the form are incorrect. The annual subscription is $30 per year for the 60+ age group and $55 for the under 60's.
